Works with wide-range 10 speed cassettes and STI shifters!
This is our favorite derailleur for road bikes with a touring cassette. This will handle 32t to 36t* low gears and it still looks like a traditional derailleur - not a Transformer.
*With 36t large cog, you might need a longer B tension screw (see related items) to keep the derailleur cage away from the large cog.
Current stock is OE packed (in polybag).

Worked perfectly on my Roubaix to handle enough wrap to run a Shimano CS-M771 XT 11-36 10spd Cassette. I was able to get enough jockey clearance by just flipping the B-adjustment screw over but the longer adjustment screw sold separately is probably the way to go. I love the 36T cog for the occasional cat ridiculous climbs in the area.

Have 2. Both shifting 11-34, 9-speed cassettes. Rated total capacity is 45 but one of mine is shifting 47 with no problems. I can cross chain either way and the derailer is happy. The cage is steel. That is good, because a cage is exposed to hazards. Steel is stronger than aluminum. Others have said 36t cogs are fine, perhaps needing longer B- screw. Others report good results with 7 - 10 cog setups. Others report good results with most Shimano shifters. I use Dia-Compe friction shifters with good results. This might be the best general purpose rear derailer ever made.

We've got two bikes with versions of this derailer. Mine is the low normal. My wife's is high normal. Both shift 11-34, 9-speed in back, one SRAM and one Shimano. Mine has 48,36,24 in front. That is 47T capcity, 2 more than advertised, but it works fine! Both setups shift smoothly and reliably, using DiaCompe/Rivendell friction shifters. No problems.
