  • Rim: Sun CR18 590-26x1-3/8 - polished finish
  • Hub: Generic small-flange alloy. Cup and cone w/5/16" nutted axle.
  • Spokes: 36 DT Champion

    Note: Our machine-built wheels are a tremendous value. Many are priced less than what the individual components would cost.
    Machine-built wheels are not tensioned and trued to the level of custom hand-built wheels.

    We offer a fine tuning of wheel true and tension for a small fee.

    I bought a new rear and front wheel from my LBS to place on my daily commuter. My old wheels were throwing in the towl. I wanted to stick with the 26 x 1 3/8 size since I love it for commuting purposes. Great for road but can handle some off road adventuring.I'm a big guy(200 lbs) and have been a little werey of this wheelset. However, its been through a bit of daily commuting and everything seems to be holding out. I can't say I haven't tried to baby these wheels(no curb jumping), but that doesn't mean they haven't seen some action. Local roads are less then perfect and commonly have less then perfect patchup jobs or still need it. Overall I've liked the wheelset so far and hope it holds up. My only gripe is that the rims prove to be difficult to get the tires on(make sure you got your levers), but seriously how often do you need them off.
