My 35-year-old cup-and-cone set had worn to the point of having serious play and grind. I'd considered replacing only the bearings, but this set was so reasonably priced that a total overhaul seemed like the way to go. My custom Peugeot UO8 now pedals smooth as silk. I'm very pleased.
