I paired this derailleur with the HG-61 Big Dozen cassette on my 9-spd road bike as I needed more gears for hills and didn't want to sacrifice speed on the easier stuff. The M772 is smooth, precise, lightweight and performs as well as the Shimano 105 it replaced. Highly recommend.
