Comments:
We use the powerlink on our 9-speed Shimano drivetrain and on the timing chain on our tandem. We do fast rides, long rides and multi-day self-supported (camping) touring. We have never had a problem with this part. They have really helped - when our chain came of the chainring (shifting to the granny) and was lodged between the chainring and frame. We simply removed the link and were able to more easily dislodge the jammed chain, reconnect it and get moving again.
