After about nine months of daily urban pothole commuting, this bracket snapped in two. Luckily it broke during the day, and my light dangled by its wire instead of smashing on the ground or getting eaten by the spokes.
If you are mounting an Oval light on the fork crown of a bike with cantis, this is the only game in town, so what are you going to to do?
I'm buying a handful, and will inspect/replace regularly. A few extra brackets are loads cheaper than replacing the light!
