I recently purchased a hybrid (Trek) bike for general purposes in my area - which is loaded with bike trails in various states of repair. Smooth pavement to dirt paths all-of-a-sudden. And the bike came with 700X32 tires. While fine for the design, I find 32's a bit much. At least for me. I've run everything from mountain-bikes to high-end intermediate racers. So I opted for the 700x28 format.
The thread-pattern rather threw me at first. But I put it on the front wheel and proceeded. And I was happily surprised by it's speed and it's dexterity. It moves gracefully and quick. And for a Kevlar-belted "toughy" - it's light weight was a welcome surprise. I recommend these to anyone looking for a good tire for general purposes in a variety of terrain - within reason. No death-runs screaming down mountainsides, of course.
I am now getting a second one for the rear.
