Origin8/Mavic Open Elite (formerly Open Sport) Fixed Gear Rear Wheel 36 Spokes
Just the ticket for converting an older road bike to fixed gear.
Features the Origin8 (Same as Formula)flip/flop
fixed/freewheel, 36 DT Champion stainless spokes and Mavic Open Sport rim.
The Formula hub is really nice, with sealed cartridge bearings.
For a typical installation you'll also need:
•Fixed-Gear sprocket
•Lockring
•Fixed-Gear Short chainring bolts so you can remove the outer chainring.
•Axle spacers to fit the hub to match the spacing of your frame. (The stock axle is long enough to space out to 130 mm).

Ordered for single speed commuting and light "cyclocross" style agressive commuting as replacement for super cheap stockers with loose BB. The wheel arrived true and ready to install save for rim tape. Rim has remained true after several hundred miles and much abuse on and off road. Will buy the matching front as the need arrises.
