This headlight is well built and thoroughly solves the problem of losing your dynamo-powered light when the bike is not moving. The standlight is sufficiently bright and stays light for a long time (more than specified). When mounting, I discovered that the light must be insulated from the frame when used with an S/A hub dynamo (maybe with all hub dynamos). I replaced the bracket bolt with a nylon bolt and rubber washers to insulate the light. I used this light in tandem with the B+M rear fender light/standlight (also needs to be insulated from the frame) and the entire setup performed well. The only improvement would be a taller mounting bracket so that, when the light is mounted on the fork crown, the front wheel wouldn't block any of the beam.
