It is normal to have to do some filing on the flat for a good fit.

      Comments:

      These fit my '74 Raleigh Sports crank perfectly. No filing was needed at all. Only sad thing is that the threads don't take the pretty, blingy Raleigh "R" nuts that came with the bike. Oh, and use a cotter press for goodness' sake!
