Like it's big brother, the Shop model CT-5, the pin automatically stops at the right spot, so you can open the chain but you won't accidentally push the rivet all the way through and ruin the link.

In addition, it folds to a smooth, compact shape that is easy to carry. 120 grams.

*That's assuming you only work on 3/32" derailer-type chain. If you work on the wide 1/8" chain, you'd probably be better off with a model that does not have the auto stop feature.
