Close-ratio 7-speed freewheel, excellent choice for those who mainly ride in gentle or flat terrain, or for rolling terrain with a triple in front.
It is generally good practice to replace the chain when you replace the freewheel.
We recommend the SRAM PC-870 chain for use with this freewheel.
This freewheel is compatible with all Shimano-type 7-speed drivetrains.
This freewheel uses the Park FR-1 extractor.
Are you sure you need a thread-on freewheel, not a cassette?

Smooth and quiet. Use this freewheel to replace old 7 spd Suntour and Sachs-Malliard indexing freewheels. Works well with the Suntour Superb Accushift 7 spd indexing shifters and Superb Pro rear derailleur that I have on a bike from the 80's. The 13-25t cogs provide no gear duplication when using 53/42t front chainrings.
